Game Account Linking & Transfers

What Are Game Accounts?

When you register on the L2 Draco website, you create a master account — your main login for the website and player panel. Game accounts are separate: they are the credentials you use to log into the actual game client.

You can link up to 5 game accounts to your master account. One of them is marked as your default, which determines which characters appear in your panel dashboard.

Each game account has its own login name and password, used exclusively in the game client.

Viewing Your Game Accounts

Go to Account → Game Accounts to see all game accounts linked to your master account. For each account you will see:

• Login name — the name used to log into the game client
• Default badge — a gold star marks your currently active default account
• Last active — when that account last logged into the game
• Email — the email address registered to that game account

Linking a Game Account

Linking connects an existing game account to your master account so you can manage it from the website panel.

1. Go to the Game Accounts page.
2. Enter your game account login (4–15 characters, letters only) and password (4–32 characters, letters, digits, and underscores allowed).
3. Complete the security verification.
4. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered website email address.
5. Open the email and click the confirmation link. The link is valid for 24 hours.
6. Once confirmed, the game account appears in your list.

Requirements

• The game account must already exist.
• The game account must not be banned.
• The game account must not already be linked to another master account.
• All characters on that game account must be offline.
• You must have fewer than 5 linked accounts.
• There must be no pending link request already waiting for that account.

Tip: Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the confirmation email within a few minutes.

Setting a Default Account

Your default game account determines which characters are shown on your panel dashboard. Only one account can be the default at a time.

To change your default:

1. Go to the Game Accounts page.
2. Find the account you want to set as default.
3. Click Set Default on that account’s card.

The gold star will move to the newly selected default account and your panel will update to show its characters.

Transferring a Game Account

Transfers allow you to move a game account from one master account to another using a one-time transfer code. This is useful when trading or gifting a game account to another player.

Important: Once a transfer is completed, the original owner loses access to that game account immediately. The game password is reset as part of the process.

Sending a Transfer (Generating a Code)

1. Go to the Game Accounts page.
2. Find the account you want to transfer and click Transfer.
3. A transfer code in the format XFER-XXXX-XXXX is generated and displayed with a copy button and a live countdown timer.
4. Share this code with the recipient. The code is valid for 1 hour.
5. If you refresh the page during this time, the active code is restored — it is not lost on refresh.

Requirements for Sending

• All characters on the account must be offline.

Receiving a Transfer (Redeeming a Code)

1. Go to the Game Accounts page and find the Redeem Transfer Code section.
2. Enter the transfer code you received (format: XFER-XXXX-XXXX).
3. Complete the security verification.
4. If successful, the game account is transferred to your master account.
5. A temporary password is generated and displayed on screen. Save it immediately — it is also emailed to you.
6. Log into the game with this temporary password, then change it at your earliest convenience.

Requirements for Receiving

• You must have fewer than 5 linked accounts.
• All characters on the transferred account must be offline.
• You cannot redeem a code generated by your own account.
• The code must still be within its 1-hour validity window.

Important: After receiving a transferred account, change the temporary password as soon as possible by logging into the game client. The temporary password grants full access to the account.
